Our archive posts this week pay tribute to the iconic British model, Stella Tennant, who sadly passed away on 22nd December. She was famed for her aristocratic beauty and inimitable personal style.
Here, Stella is photographed by Steven Meisel in December 1993 for the now legendary “London Girls” shoot, which was styled by Isabella Blow. Wearing a nose ring alongside a delicate brooch and oversized jumper, she encapsulates the nineties grunge aesthetic in this striking image.
Here, Stella wears ribbon chokers photographed by Arthur Elgort for Vogue in June 2001.
In this image, Stella is photographed by Craig McDean and styled by Kate Phelan for British Vogue in July 2015. Androgynous looks are paired with turquoise and silver jewels.
