This week's archive images are a tribute to the beloved fashion designer, Alber Elbaz, who sadly passed away at the weekend. A gentleman of great warmth and talent, Alber worked at Guy Laroche and Yves Saint Laurent before joining Lanvin as creative director in 2001 through to 2014. It is his beautiful creations for Lanvin that we are particularly going to celebrate this week. Here Alber is photographed for Vogue in September 2004 by Annie Leibovitz with Caroline Trentini in a Lanvin ensemble and jewellery of his creation.
