    The Details...

    This fur clip is constructed from Rhodium Plated metal. It features a heart shaped design detailed with floral motifs. The brooch is set with round, Aurora Borealis rhinestones. All of the stones are multi-faceted and. claw set. The reverse of the brooch features a two-pronged clip. It is stamped on its reverse with 'DEPOSÉ', which translates from French as 'hand made'. The clip measures 3cm x 2.75cm.

    Featuring high quality stones, well manufactured settings and elegant design details, this clip has the hallmarks of a piece created in France for couturiers during the post-war era. It bears a striking similarity to pieces made by the great parurier Roger Jean Pierre, who particularly favoured the use of Aurora Borealis rhinestones.
