    This brooch is constructed from silver - it is stamped '925'. It features a romantic floral design and is set with small, round, open back, colourless paste stones. The brooch fastens with a tube catch and the fastening pin is attached to the brooch with a tube hinge. The brooch measures 5.5cm x 2.5cm.

    The central, large flower on this piece is designed so that it can move slightly within its mount. This jewellery construction technique is known as 'en tremblant' - meaning that it trembles a little when the wearer moves.
