The Details...

These gold plated earrings feature a floral inspired motif with a large-scale sunburst design suspended beneath. They are detailed with teardrop shaped white and amethyst coloured glass cabochons, which make these earrings resemblant of Mughal jewels. The earrings are clip on and they measure 10cm x 6.5cm. Both earrings are signed and are stamped on their reverse with 'CLAIRE DEVE PARIS'.

A Short History...

Claire Dévé is a renowned French costume jewellery designer and has worked for prestigious houses, such as Chanel and Jean Paul Gaultier, during her accomplished career. Between 1984 and 1996, she ran her own brand and these earrings were made by her company during this time. Most recently, Claire was the creative director of Chaumet.
