The Details...

Constructed from gold plated metal, this necklace features a fancy cable chain. At the front of the necklace is a large, statement sized bolt ring. Suspended from this, is a mask motif pendant set with a face constructed from resin. The necklace measures 40cm in length and the pendant measures 4cm x 3.5cm. 

A Short History... 

The eighties was a decade during which professional women were keen to demonstrate power and affluence via any avenue. Clothing and jewellery were the ideal means by which to make a statement without saying a word. Designers produced loud, proud jewels to cater for loud, proud women. This necklace is typical of the bold pieces produced for 1980s women keen to assert their authority.
