This sleek and stylish necklace dates from the 1990s and was made by the British fashion brand Joseph, founded in 1983 by Joseph Ettedgui. 

Condition Report:

Very Good - A tiny element of of tarnish to the metal surrounding the press stud and a couple of faint scratches to the metal plating. These factors do not detract from the appeal and wearability of the piece.

The Details...

This collar necklace is constructed from a chrome plated, highly polished metal. It fastens with a press-stud and is made in two 'U' shaped sections which are hinged together. This hinge allows the necklace to open and close widely, so that it can be worn on necks of many sizes. The collar is signed -  the inside of the metal, nearest the press-stud is engraved with 'JOSEPH'. When closed, the internal circumference of the collar is approximately 42cm.
